ABOUT ME

At the start of my journey into makeup in 2008 I attended the prestigious school of Vancouver British Columbia, Blanche Macdonald. While studying there I was taught many techniques from many trade professionals who continue to work in the industry so that they can continue to teach the latest techniques and current knowledge.

Some of the courses I studied while attending were :

Make up Fundamentals, Cosmetic Retailing, Hair for Bridal and Fashion, Introduction to Art & Technology, Makeup For Fashion, Airbrushing, Film Orientation & W.H.M.I.S. Seminar, Makeup for Stage, TV & Film, Hair for Stage, TV & Film, Makeup for Special Makeup Effects, Makeup For Prosthetics.

Following school I furthered my hand at hair styling by enrolling in a training program with Blo~blow dry bar when it was still only local to Vancouver Canada. I then worked with Blo~blow dry bar and their three locations for about 3 years.
While working with hair in this atmosphere I continued to do freelance make up work on a regular basis.

Make up not only changes ones appearance but it also changes the way a person feels about them selves. Some of my proudest moments are lifting someone's spirits and brightening their day. If that was by blow drying someone's hair and making them feel like they just stepped out of my chair and into a shampoo commercial, that makes me feel just as great as I am sure my client does.
